Beverly Hills and the entertainment global world is getting ready for the Oscars with the nominees announced in the first week of February. This is what we know:
The 94th Oscars will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at the Dolby® Theatre in Hollywood, California, our home base. The multi-hour presentation will be televised live on ABC and be broadcast in more than 200 territories worldwide, including most of Africa. The telecast pre-show is watched not only for who but what is the style of the day and is always a great fashion debate after the show.
It’s still unclear whether performances will be live or pre-recorded (as they were last year), but the lineup could be the starriest in recent memory. On December 21, the Academy revealed the shortlists of nominees for 10 categories including best original song. It featured H.E.R., who took home the statuette last year for “Fight for You” from Judas and the Black Messiah and will now compete with “Automatic Woman” from Bruised; Ariana Grande and Kid Cudi for “Just Look Up” from Don’t Look Up; Kid Cudi and Jay-Z for “Guns Go Bang” from The Harder They Fall; Beyoncé for “Be Alive” from King Richard; and Billie Eilish for “No Time To Die.”
We hope you will tune in and watch – we will and see who will come on top.
